It favors the least processed natural and organic ingredients in its formulas, which exclude any ingredient from synthetic chemistry, petrochemicals, the plastic industry, as well as any ingredient potentially polluting for the environment or the organism. It strives to minimize its ecological impact in all spheres of its activity without exception, and therefore favors short cycles, exchanges at local level and zero waste. It focuses on plants and minerals with low environmental impact. It excludes all ingredients and techniques that are potentially toxic to nature, humans or animals, and promotes biodiversity.

Slow Cosmetics is formulated and practiced with respect for the health of humans, plants and animals. It is designed with respect for living things and their life cycle without causing short or long term toxicity. It takes care not to disturb the physiological functions of the body. In case of doubt about the health impact of a gesture or a product, Slow Cosmétique applies the precautionary principle and is satisfied with the alternatives available. Slow Cosmetics excludes testing on animals, as well as any animal exploitation causing suffering or death.

l.3. "Smart" cosmetics:

Slow Cosmetics responds adequately to the real needs of the skin. It recognizes the basic dermatological needs of the skin, including cleansing, hydration and protection, and it responds to them with products or sensible gestures without multiplying them unnecessarily. To do this, it uses simple formulas based on noble ingredients from bioavailable resources. It avoids as far as possible inert, inactive or unnecessarily processed synthetic ingredients, as well as any ingredient likely to maintain or improve the health of the skin at the expense of the health of the rest of the body or mind. It invites us to consume less but better, while encouraging us to come into direct contact with nature without seeking to recreate it artificially.

Slow Cosmetics does not make false promises, impossible to keep in view of the nature of a product or a cosmetic gesture. It can be bought and sold at a fair price, which reflects the true quality of its formulation or service. The price is the result of an honest calculation, directly linked to the development of the product or service in accordance with Slow Cosmetics values. It promotes ancestral and traditional know-how with respect for ethics. In its development, it ensures the improvement of the standard of living of all actors in the production chain. She trusts ingredients from Nature or human talent, without wishing to claim exclusivity (biopiracy). Resolutely positive and non-anxiety provoking, it recognizes the need for pleasure experienced by men as a quality and invites them to cultivate it in a simple way. It encourages the adoption of natural alternatives that are beneficial for the body and beauty as much as for the spirit.
